Books. Movies. TV. These things are fun, but the only thing that really matters in my world is music. At the end of the year when many people are reflecting on the personal changes they’ve made or the events that have helped shaped them I tend to reflect on all the great music I’ve found.
You see, I tend to think of myself as an archaeologist of music. There is really nothing better for me than finding a great new song that rocks my world. I don’t know how many people there are out there that care to know what music I’m into at any given moment, but for those that are interested, here is a list of my top 30 favorite songs of 2019.
- Note that not all of these songs are from 2019, some were recorded earlier. Since I didn’t discover them until 2019, I’m counting them as songs I spent a good deal of time enjoying in 2019.
